The Boss is back.  Unbox will release the Boss Charged Frost Edition from Paul Kaiju this Saturday (6.15) at 8 AM PDT for $150 from the Unbox shop.  The 'Charged' rendition of PK's signature character debuted back in January with a wilder appearance than the OG with increased detail throughout including the Biter Fish embedded in its belly.  This new bluish green + pink marbled edition first debuted at the recent Mandarake Sofubi Rally held in Tokyo back on May 5th.

Ciecy Wonderland Tapoo Lottery

Ciecy invites you to take a trip down the rabbit's hole with her new Wonderland Tapoo soft vinyl figure. The new edition features a whimsical pastel-hued design with a new Alice-like bow-tie head decoration as well as subtle playing card cues including the clubs on the front of the spaceship and the diamond pattern around the base of the cockpit dome.  Based on the pilot (individual arms) and the detail above the wings, this appears to be a mini Tapoo. The Wonderland Tapoo is available now via e-mail lottery for $65 + s/h.  To enter email berryciecy@outlook.com with 'Tapoo Wonderland' as the subject and include the following info: 1. IG account, 2. PayPal/Alipay/WeChat account, 3. Name/Shipping Address/Postal Code and 4. Phone Number.  Also be sure to repost the lottery announcement on your IG. There's no stated deadline, so it's best to enter ASAP.

Parra x Case Studyo Tomato Chair at Volta Basel

Parra continues his ongoing collaboration with Case Studyo—purveyors of innovative art objects—with the something wonderfully unexpected. So far, the pairing has created highly coveted collectibles for our desks and shelves, and now we can add living room to the list with the Tomato Chair. Based on the artist's frequently seen tomato character, this functional fiberglass sculpture measures approximately 4' x 4' x 3'. The whimsical piece dares (demands?) you to sit, enjoy and become part of the story. The Tomato Chair is on display by the Joshua Liner gallery at the Volta Basel art fair through June 15th, 2019.

Kidrobot Is Revealing 'Arcane Divination: The Lost Cards' (6.21)

Roughly two years after the release of the original Arcane Divination Dunny Series, Kidrobot is about to release Series 2, officially titled Arcane Divination: The Lost Cards.  Based on Tarot cards, specifically the 25 cards that make up the Major Arcana, S1 covered 12 of the cards while S2 features the remaining ('lost') 13 cards.  Curated once again by J*Ryu, the Lost Cards series features designs from Camilla d'Errico, Doktor A, Jon-Paul Kaiser, Tokyo Jesus and J*Ryu. Perhaps even more than the first series, the new Arcane Divination Dunnys continue to push the boundaries of Dunny and what we expect from it. In the lead up to the Friday, June 21st release of the new Arcane Divination Dunny series, Kidrobot has begun daily previews of the designs.  So far, they've revealed Strength by Camilla d'Errico, The Emperor by Doktor A, and both The Chariot and The Tower by Jon-Paul Kaiser.  Follow J*Ryu and Kidrobot for the latest reveals.
