Here is another small design studio based out of London, that’s producing amazing work. Socio’s work is simply stunning. Not a single piece is subpar, and the level of detail that went into every project is astonishing.

This is the kind of work that you look at and makes you think “man, I suck!”. It definitely made me feel that way, dammit! But that’s a good thing. I think every once in awhile we all need someone or something to let us think that we suck. It motivates.

TyC Sports Branding 2014

New branding for TyC Sports channel (Argentina).

CONCEPT: Flock of Fans
It is based on the dynamics of the flock of birds and schools of fish, and transfered to the fans and the manifestation of its feelings. Different parts that function as a whole.

If we speak about fans, we talk about endurance and perseverance, and this it is an omnipresent style of TyC Sports and its viewers. It´s supporting and closeness. It´s a heterogeneous group of belonging and a popular symbol of creativity. It´s how you view the sport from the an unconditional and passionate place. Also, if we see any sport (Basketball, Tennis, Boxing, Swimming, etc.) from the point of view of the Argentine viewer we always find a “football fan” heart.

GRAPHIC FOCUS: “Fichus” with T-shirts designs of TyC Sports
Round figurine or “fichu” as a singular object, with nostalgic reminiscences for football fans, and different T-shirt designs with combinations of TyCSports institutional colors (blue, orange , cyan and yellow). If you look closely to a football grandstand will see a sea of people with T-shirts of alternative colors and from different years, but representing the same club together.

What San Francisco's Muni System Would Look Like With A Facelift

Derek Kim wanted to update the transit system's branding with a more modern, uniform look.

Since the 1970s, San Francisco's public transit system, Muni, has carried an iconic red logo designed by branding legend Walter Landor--the creative mind behind famous logos for companies like Coca-Cola and FedEx. "I think it's the most unique logo out of all of the transit systems in the world," says San Francisco-based designer Derek Kim. "That is what makes Muni special."
